The Heart Behind Abigail’s Wish

Every vision begins with a story — and Abigail’s Wish was born from one rooted in faith, love, and purpose.

Who is Abigail?
The name Abigail holds profound meaning — it is of Hebrew origin and means a “Father’s Joy.” To us, Abigail represents advocacy, hope, and the fulfillment of something longed for. She symbolizes the desire to make dreams come true and to bring light to the lives of others.

The Inspiration
Abigail’s Wish was inspired by the hope and faith of its CEO/Founder, Tosha Wilson. Though Tosha and her husband do not yet have children, Tosha always said that if she had a daughter, she would name her "Abigail. " That name, filled with meaning and love, became the heartbeat of this organization — a reflection of an innate desire to give life, hope, and joy to others through service.

The Calling
From that inspiration came a calling — to create a platform that gives voice to the voiceless, advocates for justice, and empowers others to achieve transformation in their lives. Abigail’s Wish is more than an organization; it’s a movement of faith, purpose, and compassion that helps individuals, organizations, and communities realize that their wishes, too, can come true.
